“More beautiful than a Formula 1 award”

Klomp & Gijzen designs and makes trophy for Max Verstappen’s Red Bull Racing Team. On January 16, 2018, we visited the Formula One Red Bull Racing factory at Milton Keynes UK, at the invitation of Mystery Roads (auto rally organizer). On behalf of the fans of the Red Bull Racing Team, we handed the trophy personally to team Chief Christian Horner – thanking him for the achievements of the past year. Both the team and Christian Horner were very impressed. Christian Horner said: “This trophy is better than most Formula 1 Awards we have received.”  A bigger compliment is unimaginable for us! The tour at the factory was memorable and shows how Red Bull Racing is going as one team for victory. An approach that is also part of the vision of Klomp & Gijzen. The trophy has been given a special place in the factory so that every employee can see it any given time of the day.

An asset to Klomp & Gijzen

We started wonderful this new year. First with the new name and the new looks. Now with 2 new machines as an extension in our current machinery and I want to introduce our new team member Remco Leenders.
Remco Leenders bij Klomp & Gijzen
From the beginning of January, Remco Leenders joined our team. With his 20 years of experience in the metal industry, he is a real asset to Klomp & Gijzen. His knowledge and passion for technology, together with his drive, takes us to a higher level! A 160 ton press brake, or bending machine, is the first machine to be delivered this year. Over a length of 3 meters we can bend plate materials in any angle. With this we can think further and bigger when creating art objects. We can now also print UV printing. This machine gives an extra dimension to our trophy designs. This allows us to print in full color on, for example, metal, wood and plastic. These are 3 assets to us!

Our name has changed!

The familiar ‘Nancy Klomp Watersnijtechniek’ is now called ‘Klomp & Gijzen’. Not just a change. A choice that reveals a great ambition and that not only entails a change of name, but also shapes our new course.

We are very happy to inform you about our renewed pride.

Nancy Klomp and Remco Gijzen found each other a few years ago and decided to join forces. In recent years our focus has been on design and realization of art, figurines, trophies and awards. But technology remains our basis above all else. With a new name and a new focus, a new business card is required. See here is our completely renewed website!
